The Information Scene in Turkey,
Abstract
After a brief overview of Turkish information scene and library system, the three important documentation centers, i.e. TURDOK, YOK and ARGE are described in detail. General problems and shortcomings in the information process are discussed. Specifically, the lack of consciousness and appreciation of the importance of information is stressed.
