Experiments: Test Range Facilities. Part 2,

Abstract

We give a description of the electromagnetic transient range facility (EMTRF) at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). We discuss the range design and show the instrumentation for both time domain and broadband frequency domain measurements. We give two examples of experiments on the range: Scattering from a conducting plate and transmission through an aperture in a screen. (Author)
