Synthesis and Structural Characterization of Substance P Analogs Containing a Fluoroolefin Peptide Bond Mimic,
Abstract
We propose fluoroolefin pseudopeptide bonds as superior replacements of peptidic bonds particularly exposed to proteolytic cleavage. In contrast to plain olefin mimics fluoroolefins aim at reproducing both geometric and electronic features of the peptide bond.
