Alanine Scan of Endothelin,
Abstract
In Order to get an insight into the endothelin's (ET) structural requirements for vasoconstrictor activity, a series of analogs was synthesized by SPPS, using the Boc-benzyl protecting group strategy. The paper describes the L-alanine scan, in which each non-cysteinyl residue was substituted individually with Ala.
