Turbulent Spectral Bias of Individual Realization of LDV,

Abstract

Numerical studies on spectral estimates including the velocity bias in LDV signal processing are investigated with the three methods for spectral analysis. Particle arrival time statistics are modelled as a doubly stochastic Poisson process which is a conditionally Poisson process with intensity functions given velocity fields. Extended assessments of spectral estimators are scrutinized with varying the data densities, turbulent intensities and Reynolds correlations. (Author)
