The Investigation on the Property and Structure of a Starting Vortex Flow,
Abstract
Experimental investigations on the starting flow around backward-step was hold in a water channel. The properties and structures of the flow were visualized by Hydrogen bubble technique and measured quantitatively (velocity, vorticity field) by WLBIV (one kind of PIV) technique. Some invarient properties and 4-stage structures of the starting vortex flow were observed. (Author)
