Measurement of Drop Sizes in an Oil of Unknown Refractive Index Using Phase Doppler Anemometry,

Abstract

Measurements of size of drops of a silicone oil using Phase Doppler Anemometry was compared with measurements using photography. The two methods gave very close results. For the phase Doppler technique considerations to light scattering are discussed.
