Determining Grain Analysis of a Cloud of Submicronic Particles by Means of an Ultraviolet Laser Beam. Application to Turboreactors,

Abstract

The combustion in a turboreactor generates submicronic solid particles. In order to determine the size repartition of these unburned particles we realised an prototype which uses a laser radiation scattering. The system was tested on supersonic flows.
