LDV Digital Signal Processor Based on Autocorrelation,

Abstract

Recent developments in LDV signal processors have employed digital signal processing (DSP) techniques such as FFT and DFT to obtain measurements at lower signal to noise ratios than traditional signal processors. They have, however, failed to reduce the expertise required to obtain maximum performance of the signal processor. A new Digital Burst Autocorrelator (TSI Model IFA 750) has been designed and developed with a total system approach. The results is an LDV signal processor which extracts the maximum amount of information by automatically optimizing important operating parameters for each Doppler burst. (Author)
