Modern Spectral Analysis for LDV and PDA Data Processing,

Abstract

Photodetector signals from phase Doppler anemometry systems (PDA) have to be processed to determine both frequencies and phase, corresponding to velocity and size of particles. This paper is concerned with the comparison of various methods for numerical processing of PDA signals. Both classical (Fast Fourier Transform) and modern non linear spectral analysis (Prony and Nutall-Strand) are investigated. (Author)
