Velocity Measurements in Fluid by Holographic Interferometry,

Abstract

A holographic interferometry technique has been used to record an illuminated plane of a Rayleigh-Bernard convection flow where small tracers are suspended. The analysis of several interferograms with different sensitivity vectors, obtained from the same hologram by varying the viewing direction, allows to obtain the three components of the velocity field.
