Precision Frequency Synthesizing Sources with Excellent Time/Frequency Performances,

Abstract

Precision frequency synthesizing sources are needed in the time/ frequency measuring system, atomic frequency standards, telemetry, communication and radar systems. This kind of frequency synthesizing sources possesses high frequency accuracy and excellent long term and short term frequency stability. Several precision frequency synthesizing sources developed by Beijing Institute of Radio Metrology and Measurement (BIRMM) are described in this paper, which have been successfully applied to the time / frequency measuring system, atomic frequency standards system and radar system. In addition, the working principle, implementation approach and the main technical specifications obtained of the frequency synthesizing sources are also given in this paper.
