The Unmanned Combat Aircraft (UCAV): The Point of View of an Aircraft Manufacturer (Les Avions de Combat Non Habites (UCAV) Le point de vue d'un avionneur)

Abstract

There is an increasing interest to develop an unmanned plane. It is possible to consider innovator concepts of unmanned combat planes, which is a technically possible solution. Since 1989, at the end of the cold war there is an operational plan characterized by: peace operations maintenance; theater diversities; multiple periods of deployment; joint deployment operations trying to secure peace; the on the level of losses/effects on the civil populations; and minimization of prisoners.
