Section V: Conclusions

Abstract

The collection of data from NATO nations regarding use of medications for aircrew contains some interesting information and is a tool of great potential utility to NATO flight surgeons. In our survey of therapeutic medications use, we concentrated on medications used for long-term or a sustained therapy for medical conditions. We did not survey nations on short-term therapeutic agents such as antibiotics.
