H-Bases II: Applications to Numerical Problems

Abstract

We show how H-bases can be applied to polynomial interpolation and for the solution of systems of nonlinear equations. We will give an example of a system of polynomial equations where the H-basis leads to more stable computations than with the Grobner basis.
