Nonharmonic Bloch Oscillations in GaAs/AIGaAs Superlattices

Abstract

Bloch and Zener theoretically calculated that in the materials with a periodical potential in the case of applying the steady external electric field the electrons should move periodically. This periodical motion is called Bloch oscillations.
