Langevin Method for Shot Noise in Single-Electron Tunneling

Abstract

The shot noise in correlated single-electron tunneling can be calculated using the Langevin approach. It is equivalent to the Fokker-Plank-type approach in the "orthodox" framework however the advantage is a natural possibility to describe also the fluctuations in the quantum frequency range.
