Optical Phonons in Hexagonal GaN/Al(x)Ga(1-x)N Multilayered Structures

Abstract

The results of the phonon behavior in multilayered periodic structures GaN/A1(x) Ga(1-x)N are presented. It is shown that the A(1) (TO), E(1)(TO), and E(2)(high) phonons can be considered as the vibrations propagating through the multilayered structure.
