Guided Plasmon-Polaritons in a Planar Bragg Microresonator with Two-Dimensional Electron System

Abstract

We present the results of theoretical investigation of the plasmon-polaritons formed due to the interaction of two-dimensional plasmons in a planar Bragg microresonator with guided modes of dielectric substrate slab. A conclusion is made that guided plasmon-polaritons may be taken up for the development of controllable guided wave THz frequency filters and modulators.
