Precision and Accuracy Technology
Abstract
This Project directly supports Long Range Precision Fires Modernization Priority capabilities by investigating and developing advanced missile seekers, sensors, and software/algorithms to increase affordability and performance of missiles for precision at extended ranges. This Project also investigates and develops advanced technologies for effective guidance and navigation of precision missiles through unique navigation technologies and algorithms aimed at reducing size, weight, power and cost. Work in this Project complements PE 0603464/AE8 LBASM Advanced Technology The cited work is consistent with the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering priority focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy. Work in this Project is performed by the United States Army Futures Command (AFC).
