Abstract
This Project investigates new high fidelity computational methods to simulate aerodynamic effects and test methods of emerging rotorcraft lift technologies that could be incorporated into Future Vertical lift (FVL) designs. Work in this Project is fully coordinated with PE 0603465A (Future Vertical Lift Advanced Technology Development). The cited work is consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Science and Technology focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy.
