Experimental and Computational Aeromechanics Techn
Abstract
This Project investigates new high fidelity computational methods to simulate aerodynamic effects and test methods of emerging rotorcraft lift technologies that could be incorporated into Future Vertical Lift (FVL) designs. Research in this Project is fully coordinated with PE 0603465A (Future Vertical Lift Advanced Technology). The cited research is consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Science and Technology focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy. Research in this effort is performed by the United States (US) Army Futures Command.
