Understanding the Environment as a Threat Technolo
Abstract
This Project designs and advances mission planning software enabling the Soldier to identify, track, and plan for industrial or commercial chemical/environmental threats. Software modules will increase capability of mission based planning technologies providing new operational routing options for mission execution with environmental threat overlays. Work in this Project complements to Program element (PE) 0603463A (Network C3I Advanced Technology) / Project AR6 (Understanding the Environment as a Threat Adv Tech). The cited research is consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering priority focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy. Research in this Project is performed by the United States Army Engineer Research and Development Center and coordinated with the United State Army Futures Command.
