Physical Augmentation: Adv Tech for Field Demo
Abstract
This Project investigates human augmentation technologies for enhanced Soldier mobility & lethality to provide an advantage over adversaries during close combat and infantry tasks. This will be achieved by demonstrating and validating operationally ready physical augmentation systems that meet the mission requirements by optimizing movement & maneuver and logistics sustainment task performance. The cited research is consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering priority focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy. Research in this Project is performed by the United States Army Futures Command (AFC).
