Combat Vehicle Robotics Adv Tech

Abstract

This Project matures and demonstrates innovative enabling technologies that enable scalable integration of multi-domain robotic and autonomous system capabilities teamed within Army formations supporting all combat warfighting functions (close combat, reconnaissance, targeting and acquisition, etc.). Project focus areas include Platform Electronic Control and Autonomy Safety Engineering. The cited work is consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering priority focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy (AMS). Work in this Project supports the Army Modernization Priority, Next Generation Combat Vehicle (NGCV). Work is performed by the U.S. Army Futures Command (AFC). Work is also coordinated with PE 0602145A (Next Generation Combat Vehicle Technology), and transitions to PE 0604017A (Robotics Development).
