Extended Line of Sight (ELOS) Advanced Technology
Abstract
This Project develops a precision guided tank fire and forget 120-mm munition to engage high-value targets including heavy armor, the growing Anti-Tank Guided Munition (ATGM) threat (dismounted and mounted), and light armor at extended ranges (2 to 8 km (T), 2 to 12 km (O)). The cited work is consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering priority focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy. Work in this Project supports the Army Modernization Priority Next Generation Combat Vehicle. Work in this Project is performed by the United States (US) Army Futures Command.
