C4ISR Modular Autonomy Technology

Abstract

This Project researches and develops multifunction mission command, sensing, and communications technologies and approaches to enable the required Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities for autonomous and semi-autonomous platforms. Efforts support Manned/Unmanned Teaming and combined arms maneuver in complex environments. The cited work is consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering priority focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy. Work in this Project supports the Army Modernization Priority Next Generation Combat Vehicle. Work in this Project is coordinated with PE 0603462A (Next Generation Combat Vehicle Advanced Technology). Work in this effort is performed by the United States (US) Army Futures Command.
