Platform Electrification and Mobility Tech
Abstract
This Project researches and develops advanced power and energy technologies for tactical and combat ground vehicles that are necessary for parallel or series hybrid-electric drive. Research energy storage, distribution and battlefield charging technologies to enable future plug-in hybrid-electric drive and all electric tactical vehicle systems. This Project researches and develops advanced power and energy technologies for combat ground vehicles that are necessary for parallel hybrid, series hybrid and all- electric vehicle systems. Work in this Project complements PE 0603462A (Next Generation Combat Vehicle Advanced Technology). The cited work is consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering priority focus areas. Work in this Project is performed by the Ground Vehicle System Center (GVSC)
