Next Generation Aviation Transmission Apl Tech
Abstract
This Project investigates Future Vertical Lift (FVL) and other Army and Department of Defense (DoD) advanced drive train technologies that increase performance and double current drivetrain life cycles while improving their reliability and maintainability. Research in this Project is fully coordinated with PE 0603043A (Air Platform Advanced Technology). The cited research is consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering priority focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy. Research in this Project is performed by the United States Army Futures Command.
