High Performance Computing for Rotorcraft Apl Tech
Abstract
This Project investigates and validates aeromechanics modeling and simulation tools for Future Vertical Lift (FVL) and other Army and DoD aviation systems and platforms. Research efforts in this Project are also applicable to the family of FVL manned and unmanned platforms. Research in this Project is fully coordinated with PE 0603043A (Air Platform Advanced Technology), Project DC3 (HPC for Army Aviation Concepts). The cited research is consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering priority focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy. Work in this Project is performed by Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC).
