Understanding Environment as a Threat Tech
Abstract
This Project designs and advances mission planning software enabling the Soldier to identify, track, and plan for industrial or commercial chemical/environmental threats. Software modules will increase capability of mission based planning technologies providing new operational routing options for mission execution with environmental threat overlays. Work in this Project complements Program element (PE) 0603042A (C3I Advanced Technology) / Project DE7 (Understanding the Environment as a Threat Adv Tech). The cited work is consistent with the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering priority focus areas and the Army Modernization Strategy. Work in this Project is performed by the United States Army Engineer Research and Development Center.
