Nano Electronics on Atomically Controlled van der Waals Quantum Heterostructures

Abstract

The objective of this grant is to design and engineer hetero-interfaces in 2D van der Waals (vdW) materials for the realization of novel quantum electronic states. The team will use metal-organic chemical vapor deposition and molecular beam epitaxy to form functional nanostructures that can be utilized for new electronic device applications. The team will investigate technologically relevant science for quantum devices.
