Graphene on SiC as Outstanding Functional and Structural Nanomaterial with Applications from the Nano- to the Macroscale - 154032

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to produce a comprehensive fundamental model that clarifies relationships between physical, mechanical, electrical and optical properties of graphene films on silicon-carbide (SiC) substrates produced using the principle investigator s synthetic process. If successful, this investigation might lead to a generalized approach that would extend graphene synthesis to any amorphous SiC surface, and potentially beyond silicon substrates.
