How do light harvesting proteins support long-lived quantum coherences?

Abstract

The aim of this project will be to initiate a synthetic biology approach to answering the question: what is the structural basis for the long-lived coherent states that are observed in the multi-dimensional femtosecond laser spectroscopy of cryptophyte light harvesting proteins?
