Template Effect on Guiding Biomolecular Growth by 3-D Carbon Nanotube Networks on Silicon and Quartz Plates

Abstract

The objective of this research is to understand nano- and micro-scale template effects of 3D carbon nanotube (CNT) arrays on biomolecule growth behavior. This investigation will lead to fundamental understanding of how underlying structural features affect biomolecule growth under different applied fields (electric; flow).
