GNSS Ionospheric Scintillation Models

Abstract

The research goal is to carry out research on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) ionospheric scintillation models, especially in the equatorial region. The main objectives of the project are: a) Review suitable GNSS ionospheric scintillation models, b) Propose stochastic-based GNSS ionospheric scintillation models to Singapore equatorial region, c) Analyze the effects of ionospheric scintillation on GNSS and communication/navigation systems among satellites and earth stations/ground receivers.
