Hybrid Magneto-Optic Materials with Active or Passive Polymers

Abstract

The goal is to synthesize of new magneto-optic (MO) hybrid materials, including substituted conjugated polymers or magnetic nanoparticles-polymer composites with large MO Verdet constants for effective integrated MO devices. These new and innovative magneto-optical materials have been receiving renewed interest for the applications in guidance systems, novel sensors and diagnostics.
