Frontal Radar Imaging Of Humans Behind Walls

Abstract

Proposed research objective is to explore electromagnetics (EM) principles in the context of image reconstruction for through wall radar imaging. The novelty lies in applying EM tools from traditional radar processing such as Micro Doppler and beamforming along with modern principles of compressed sensing. PI team proposed reconstruction by extracting human images in the presence of wall clutter by optimizing the radar sensor design parameters (aperture size, frequency, bandwidth, waveform, and position).
