Abstract
European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of KnowledgeDiscovery, 2016This project aims at supporting the organization of the 2016 edition of the EuropeanConference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery, thatwill take place in Riva del Garda, Italy, during September 19-23, 2016. This event is thepremier European machine learning and data mining conference and builds upon a verysuccessful series of 26 ECML and 19 PKDD conferences, which have been jointly organizedfor the past 15 years. The purpose of this conference is to gather the Machine Learning andData Mining communities in a single conference to strengthen the exchanges between thepractitioners. Another important purpose is to reinforce the special relationship between theindustry and the academics on hot topics from Machine Learning and Data Mining. Theproject aims at providing support for congress center costs, covering part of the costs forhiring the plenary room for the three days of the main conference.
