Graphene Oxide: A New Functional Material For Optical Waveguide Devices

Abstract

The unique optical properties of graphene oxide (GO) is attracting a lot of study, but limited applications due to process integrity of the materials. Application of this materials to the optical waveguide platform is one of ultimate idea of future devices such as "All?optical waveguide switch, and modulators." The proposed study is unique and challenging, with potential application in integrated photonic device for radar systems.
