Doppler-Free Velocimetry in Hypersonic Flow

Abstract

The proposed research will demonstrate point velocity measurements in a shock tunnel with high spatial and temporal resolution at a fraction of the cost of current state-of-the-art velocimetrytechniques and with potentially higher velocity resolution than other Doppler shift-based methods.
