Antimonide-Based III-V Ternary Nanowire Materials For High Performance Infrared Photodetector Applications

Abstract

The objective of this research is to correlate patterned substrate design parameters (e.g., diameter and fill factor) to nanowire (NW) photodetector wavelength and performance in order to achieve GaAsSb based high performance wavelength tunable NW array infrared photodetectors, which have yet to be demonstrated. If successful, this research will pave the way for development of future advanced optoelectronics, sensing, and communication systems.
