Simulating the mechanics of ultra-high performance fibre reinforced concrete for rapid low cost material development and analysis

Abstract

1. To quantify the partial interaction material properties for a range of materials including both proprietary mixes and those developed by the investigator for the Australian Defense Science and Technology Group.2. To develop the displacement based approach fundamental partial interaction mechanics (Visintin et al. 2012), which has been shown to be able to simulate the formation and widening of tensile cracks in reinforced concrete, will be developed for UHPFRC.
