Investigate Target Reflection And Illumination Sensitivity In Range Gated Detection

Abstract

The proposed research objectives are:1. Investigate the effects caused by target reflection in a range gated system from the perspective of target surface reflectivity and angle of laser incidence based on the Bi-directional Reflectance Distribution Function (BRDF) theory.2. Analyze the effects induced by imperfection and instability in laser illumination and transmission, and the influence of the illumination parameter such as laser repetition rate.
