Multi-Instrument Investigation Of Ionospheric Flow Channels And Their Impact On The Ionosphere And Thermosphere During Geomagnetic Storms
Abstract
Primary objective is to investigate ionospheric polar convection flow channels (FCs) and their impact on the ionosphere and thermosphere during geomagnetic storms. The research goal is to gain a better understanding of a) ionosphere and thermosphere responses to geomagnetic stormsand b) geophysical processes underlying the coupled magnetosphere ionosphere and thermosphere system.
