Computational Electromagnetics in Scattering Interactions of Earth Terrain for Remote Sensing Modeling

Abstract

Proposed research will focus on:a) Develop theoretical model to incorporate new equivalence principle based computational electromagnetics techniques in the study of microwave scattering and interactions in earth terrain.b) Extend the theoretical framework to cover wide variety of earth terrain types with practical optimization for fast computation of radar returns.c) Validate simulated results with measurement data and provide detailed analysis of scattering mechanisms for real or simulated earth terrain scenarios.
