Impact of Thermal Effects and Mechanical stress on the RF Performance of Flexible Transmit and Receive Modules
Abstract
Radio frontends in radars often use transmit/receive (TR) modules. Circuits commonly employed in TR modules are the low noise amplier (LNA), power amplier (PA), and TR switch. Recent technological developments enable realization of TR modules on flexible substrates. However, many research questions must be addressed experimentally to demonstrate feasibility and applicability of the new technology.
