Abstract
One of the major areas of concern in the Space Situational Awareness (SSA) program is the issue of a near exponential rise of space debris at the satellite orbital altitudes (particularly in the low earth orbit (LEO) region) and the risk they pose for space assets [1,2]. Significant efforts are therefore being devoted towards the accurate modeling, tracking and removal of these debris
