Artificially Engineered Exction Quantum Dot Arrays for Quantum Information ScienceApplications

Abstract

Solid state quantum emitters have played a central role in the current topic of quantum information sciences. They can be used as qubits, the building block for quantum computations or as single photon sources for quantum communications. A popular class of solid state quantum emitters are epitaxially grown semiconductor quantum dots (SQDs) such as InGaAs QDs. When coupled to photonic cavities, they form excellent single photon sources.
