MECHANICS AND AERODYNAMICS OF DEFORMABLE PROPELLERS AND RELATED SAFETY CONTROL

Abstract

This project will explore a new approach that can lead to novel design and control of drones with deformable propellers, with the potential to impact our future daily life and improve current safety standards. The project aims largely to address the fundamental problem in mechano- aerodynamics modeling of the deformable propellers, then clarify the possibility of autonomous safe-control of drones loaded with such propellers in collision with the surroundings.
